Hiring New Data Team for Global Accounting Firm

Client Overview:   Our client is a global public accounting and consulting firm. Our client wanted to create an internal data team to start a Knowledge Center that utilized Artificial Intelligence.

Problem

Our client was tasked with building a brand new, internal data team within a two-month timeframe.

The leadership team wanted to be able to use the internal insights in the new fiscal year and wanted to lay the groundwork immediately.

The roles were unique because they needed team members, who had the expertise of building out Data processes & procedures  within a global company.

Our client has a strong Talent Acquisition team, but due to the tight deadline, needed a talent partner who could put their entire focus into the recruitment process.

Solution

Solving IT Talent used its LABS process to collaborate with the Client’s Talent Acquisition teams to design a recruiting process and assign the right team.

Learn: We learned the ins and outs of what our client was looking to accomplish, and the selling points that would help us attract great talent.

Align: We set up checkpoints with the TA team and created a plan to ensure that we were providing valuable data to the client.

Build: We used recruiters who had prior experience recruiting Data talent. We built job postings, and messaging campaigns, and utilized technology to ensure we targeted the right talent efficiently.

Support: Once the offers were extended, we continued to support our clients through consistent check-ins with both parties to ensure a smooth transition

Outcome

Solving IT helped our client hire a Data Architect, a BI Developer, and a Business Analyst with AI experience within the two-month hiring time frame.

Our client was able to hit their goal of creating a data team that worked with their internal business practices and created a new product Knowledge Center that utilized Artificial Intelligence. This allowed leadership to gain the insights required for their fiscal year planning.
