April 12, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Hey everyone,

We hope you can join us on Wednesday, April 12 at 5:30pm for an interesting and valuable discussion hosted at DRIVIN’s offices. There is security in the building, so please register in advance and bring your ID.

Successful Collaboration between C-Level Execs and their Data Scientists: Best Practices (and Worse Practices)

As a new-ish business discipline, organizations are still learning how to effectively integrate data science into their business processes and cultures.  Until an organization succeeds at figuring out how to leverage data science to make them smarter, their businesses will run without the benefit of crucial insights.

A panel of business executives and their data scientists will share best (and worst) practices about how they successfully collaborate to the benefit of their organizations. They will discuss topics such as:

• How data scientists can be responsive to the needs of the C-level execs that they serve

• How executives can be more effective at managing data scientists

The panelists come from two forward-thinking data science companies in Chicago:

DRIVIN is the auto industry’s first intelligence marketplace, helping car deals use data to sell, search and buy the right used vehicles for their lots.

• John Manganaro, VP of Product and Analytics

• Jeremy Mobley, Data Scientist

Vizient helps is member hospitals deliver exceptional, cost-effective care by connecting them with the knowledge, solutions and expertise to achieve healthier outcomes.

• Elizabeth Godsey, Senior Director of Data Science, Methodology & National Imperatives

• Vivek Ajmani – Director of Data Science and Methodology

The panel will be moderated by Randy Horton, Managing Director of 94 Westbound Consulting.

Light refreshments will be served.
