Intro to GIANT Scale by MongoDB Atlas + Lightning talks

MongoDB is the leading non-relational database, with over 20 million downloads worldwide and hundreds of thousands of deployments across both startups and the Fortune 500. This session will cover some of the characteristics of the technology that have contributed to its popularity and widespread adoption. It will also introduce MongoDB Atlas, the new MongoDB as a service from the creators of the database.

Speaker: Jay Gordon, MongoDB
Jay Gordon is a Technical Account Manager and Developer Advocate at MongoDB focused on providing users with a great experience with our Cloud Manager product. Jay joined MongoDB in 2016 after many years as working as a System Administrator and DevOps Professional. Prior to MongoDB, Jay was able to be part of teams that leveraged large MongoDB deployments such as BuzzFeed.
