Championing Diversity

I am thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to fostering inclusivity. Solving IT is now an LGBT Business Enterprise! As both a business owner and a member of the LGBT community, this certification holds deep personal significance. I take immense pride in this achievement, even though it is just one step in our continuous journey to embracing and celebrating diversity in our workplace. Our whole team is passionate about our DEI efforts, which require ongoing mindfulness and action.

Personally, I am incredibly fortunate to have worked for cutting-edge employers who prioritize setting a culture aligned with employees’ values. And my experience at Solving IT has been truly special. As a family business, Solving IT goes beyond the ordinary by creating an environment where each voice, including mine, holds significant weight in shaping our culture. The close-knit nature of our team, how we always work hard but still make time to play games and tell jokes with each other, fosters a sense of belonging for me.

I want to highlight two of Solving IT’s core values that we live by: Authenticity and Individuality. As a team, we recognize the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and cultures that make us who we are as individuals. And by fostering a workplace culture that cherishes our authenticity, we enhance the creativity and strength of our team.

Every person on the team brings their unique perspectives, contributing to the innovation that drives our success. We are consistently cultivating a culture of appreciation, where our experiences and skills are not only acknowledged but deeply respected. And because we interact with each other in this way, we are also able to empathize and connect on this meaningful level throughout our organization and beyond. We take pride in positively impacting the work cultures of our clients, as well as the larger staffing and consulting communities.

In conclusion, our journey to LGBT certification signifies our pledge to fostering a workplace where every individual feels valued and respected. Together, we’ll keep up the work to embrace authenticity and appreciate differences with a goal of creating positive, lasting impacts on our communities.
