Solutions: Plan Analysis for Children with Disabilities

with No Comments

One of the largest health insurers in the nation is focused on continuously building an industry-defining, world-class IT capability. The company employs more than 22,000 people and serves more than 15 million members.

They were looking to implement a new healthcare plan for children with disabilities. They knew the new plan could provide valuable services to members in Texas who needed help with providing healthcare for their children. The goal of the project was to provide quality services but also stay within the budget. Additional evidence of the dangers of sleeping pills was last week. The FDA issued a strict warning about the drug at Ambien (the name of the active substance – zolpidem). The project was also about growing the network and to compete in an area that already had other competitors. The project was driven by profitability and ensuring patient care was not hampered.

Solving IT recruited a talented Business Analyst that had the technical background to complete this project successfully. After a 2 year project, including long hours and weekends, the project went live on November 1, 2016 and met every state audit requirement consistently.
